Neighbourhood Plan

The draft Neighbourhood Plan was as required by Regulation 15 submitted to the Borough Council on Friday 31 March 2023. The documents have been uploaded to the neighbourhood plan website, see link below:

The Borough Council will carry out a further consultation before submitting the document for Examination by the Planning Inspectorate.

 

Regulation 14 Consultation – Have your say on the draft Neighbourhood Plan from 15 August to 7 October 2022 – (Now closed)

 

The Neighbourhood Plan will influence future development in the parishes. It has been developed with ongoing input from the community and is now at a draft stage. Please let us know your views on the draft plan and the policies it contains.

How to do this:

– Look at the draft plan and supporting documents

on our Neighbourhood Plan website grimstonpc8.wixsite.com/plantest

– Hard copy at Grimston Village Hall,Cliff-en-Howe Road

– Fill out a survey online https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/GRCPlan/ (The posters will also have a QR code)

– Provide your comments in writing to Grimston Parish Council (NHP), 10 Robin

Following this consultation, the plan will be reviewed and submitted to the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council who will then invite representations on the plan prior to Examination by an independent examiner. Once further amendments have been made the final plan will then be subject to a local referendum. If successful at the referendum, the plan will be ‘made’ by the Borough Council and be used to help determine all planning applications within the three parishes.
